Cocker Walk Fundraiser & Reunion
We are planning way in advance for our 2nd Annual Cocker Walk Fundraiser & Reunion - this time it's in Victoria! We can't wait to see all of our past adopters/fosters/volunteers and many new Cockers and their owners!
When: Sunday, May 6, 2012 ~ 1 pm to 4 pm
Where: Beaver Lake Park (Elk Lake Drive off of Pat Bay Highway), Victoria, BC
There will be tons of amazing prizes for the silent auction and raffle ticket fundraiser! We will also have a BBQ, drinks, music, games, guest speakers, dog trainers, agility, bake sale, bobbing for tennis balls & treats.

2. We will send you a pledge participation sheet.
3. Start collecting pledges.
4. On the day of the event, you and your Cocker will show up, sign in, hand in your pledge sheet, get your photo taken, and do a walk around the park.
Prizes will be awarded for the team who raises the most money!
All proceeds go to Angels Under Our Wings Cocker Spaniel Rescue
It's been a busy year for Angels Under Our Wings with lots of rescues and as a result lots of vet debt. To help support our rescue efforts we are running our 1st Annual Christmas Raffle.
All proceeds raised from the raffle will go towards the rescue, rehabilitation, specialist care and the general up keep of our wiggle butts over the coming months. With the breeding season right upon us, our vet bills sky rocket due to the number of animals being rescued, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and cared for. We hope that the money raised from the Christmas Raffle will help cover some of these expenses.
Ticket prices: 3 for $5, 8 for $10, or 20 for $20.

*Christmas Cookie Basket ~ lots of yummy homemade baked goodies (6 gingerbread men & cookies; 1 dz each of gingersnaps, chocolate chip, peanut butter, reverse chocolate, oatmeal raisin, sugar & shortbread).
*Sparky Snacks Gift Bag ~ Yummy, hand baked, doggy treats for your best friend (value $30)

We are joining forces with our rescue partner Camp Cocker to try to fundraise so little Camp Cocker Alvin can get the double knee surgery he has been very patiently waiting for. The cost of his surgery is $4,000 and as you can imagine it is hard to fundraise for this amount of money.

Wow! What an amazing day we had at our 1st Annual Cocker Walk Fundraiser! SO many people to thank for making the day such a hugh success!
We are touched by all of the support we received from everyone including the ever so generous community business owners who donated prizes for our raffle and silent auction and to those of you that travelled distances to support our cause we are also so very grateful!
