UPDATE: Java has arrived! He is a sweet, gentle fellow, a little shy at first but warmed up to me quickly. He just needs to be sure he can trust you first and that you won't hurt him. He is a bigger boy @ 32lbs, but that just means there is more of him to love! He was also matted, filled with parasites and covered in ticks. He was neutered yesterday (May 27th) and is recovering well. He thinks toys and his very own cozy bed to roll around in is the best thing in the world and it is almost as if you can see him smiling! He is a clean boy as he has not once made a mess in his pen. We can't wait to see this boy emerge into the confident doggie we know he can be. Once again, we want to thank Joyce, Allan & Deb in Saskatchewan for helping these dogs get a second chance at a new much better life! We will post more on Java once we get to know her better.
Java will be arriving in April. He is a sable and white parti color. We have been told he enjoys attention but is a little shy when first introduced to new people and around children so would do best in an adult only home. He get along well with other dogs and is great when being groomed. We will have more information about Java once we meet him and get to know him better.
