Meet Java! Java is a super sweet 3.5 yr old cocker boy. He has really come out of his shell since he arrived here. He has such a silly, playful side and a lot of personality. He enjoys playing with tennis balls, squeaky toys and loves bully sticks! He runs through the yard with his ears flying and tail in the air and it is almost as if you can see him smiling! Java can still be a little shy around men but is gaining more confidence all the time. He is a quiet dog and gets along great with other dogs. He is fantastic around the puppies so patient and tolerant. He is like a big teddy bear but strong for his size, a solid dog and very muscular. He can jump a 4 foot baby gate and can also jump a chainlink fence 4.5ft so would do better with a solid wood fence. He is housetrained, knows how to use a doggie door, is crate trained and knows some basic commands. He still needs some leash work as he is a bit of a puller especially when he gets the scent of a rabbit! If you are looking for a sweet, easygoing fellow then Java is the dog for you!
