UPDATE: Sugar has arrived! Sweet Sugar is a shy little girl that needs love and patience in order to trust you. She has these beautiful big soft brown eyes that plead with you to love her. She is also on the smaller size about 22lbs. She gets along great with the other dogs and was so happy to see her pack after her travels. Sugar was more fortunate in that she has a finer coat that doesn't mat as easily but she also had ticks and parasites in her little tummy. We have seen glimpses of her silly side when she rolls round in her dog bed, hops around for affection when she sees the other dogs getting some and playing and tossing her squeaky toys. We just know there is a happy, confident, affectionate girl waiting to emerge with a little time and guidance. I have already been given lots of hand licks as if to say thank you for the fresh start! Once again, we want to thank Joyce, Allan & Deb in Saskatchewan for helping these dogs get a second chance at a new much better life! We will post more on Sugar once we get to know her better.
